Japanese Steak Salad

Japanese Steak Salad – first chop up a head of broccoli, toss in olive oil, crushed garlic/chilli/salt (or aromat if you’re me) and pepper and roast in oven at 180• for 15/20 mins till nice and golden. Then cook your sirloin steak (I like mine really rare), in the last minute of their cooking time add lots of fresh ginger, garlic and chilli, and straight after a large splash of Soy, fish sauce, and shaoxing wine. Take just the steaks out to rest and chuck into the pan a pack of sugar snaps. Cook till al dente and spread around and between the roasted broccoli. Slice up the steaks and place in the middle. Slice fresh chilli and scatter over the top, then squeeze some lime over everything. Surround the whole dish with baby gem cups and scatter with roasted cashews!
